14 days of grape-ripened grapes maceration. 9 months in stainless steel tanks.
Low part of the hill. South/south-west exposure.
Ruby red color with magenta reflections. The nose shows ripe forest fruit, in particular blackberry and raspberry jam. Slightly balsamic with hints of sage. It fades a bit spicy. To drink it is full, rich and structured, long and persistent, with silky and slightly exuberant tannins.
To combine with fat and tasty salami, such as cup or “Musetto”. Interesting with ducks and wild game meat.
